I know falafel and grilled portobellos have become BBQ staples for veg folk, and I adore both, as is. But how about the best of both worlds? I suggest you try out these vegan burgers. When I make them again, I’ll be sure to chop up the mushrooms a bit more (chunks don’t bother me; I just think they’ll stick together a little better). I used tarragon and basil to season them, per suggestion of the author, but will likely swap in some cilantro and parsley next time, to mix things up.
